I am an  Assistant Professor of Economics at Black Hills State University, College of Business

My research interests lie in Natural Resource Economics, Health Economics, Energy Economics, Urban and Regional Economics, and Economic Development. In particular, I focus on water, water quality, the opioid crisis, public health, and rural development, energy generation, health outcomes, and how regional economies impact and impact them. I also have done work on the topics of energy, public policy, and research outcomes.

I have published research in Energy Policy, Economic Development Quarterly, the Review of Regional Studies, Water Economics and Policy, and Water Resources and Economics, among others.
